Maria Villella is a Board-Certified Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, a licensed Acupuncturist in both Florida and California, and a member of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). She specializes in fertility, pregnancy, postpartum care, hormonal health, and women's wellness, supporting patients through every stage of their journey.

Maria has worked alongside reproductive endocrinologists in both Los Angeles, CA, and Sarasota, FL, helping patients navigate natural conception, IUI, IVF, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and menopause. She currently works with CNY Fertility, where she continues to provide integrative care that complements conventional fertility treatment.

Her approach blends evidence-informed Eastern medicine with compassionate, individualized care. She believes true healing comes from addressing the whole person, not simply treating symptoms, and works closely with each patient to restore balance, optimize health, and create lasting wellness.

In addition to reproductive health, Maria works with children and adults experiencing both acute and chronic conditions. She also offers holistic aesthetic treatments that reflect her philosophy that vibrant skin begins with internal health. Through microneedling, nanoneedling, facial gua sha, facial cupping, homeopathic injectables, and personalized lifestyle recommendations, she helps clients support healthy aging while enhancing their natural beauty.

Maria's path into integrative medicine began through yoga after experiencing firsthand the profound therapeutic effects of the practice. Later, following a back injury, acupuncture became another turning point in her own healing journey. That experience transformed not only her physical health but also deepened her understanding of the body's innate ability to heal when given the right support. It taught her to listen more closely to her body and ultimately inspired the way she now cares for her patients.

A dedicated yoga educator for nearly two decades, Maria holds the highest national teaching designation (E-RYT 500). She has served on the teaching faculty for Loyola Marymount University's teacher training program for more than ten years and has appeared multiple times on the cover of Yoga Journal. She has also created educational content for Yoga Journal, Yogic Life, and Yoga Anytime. Her yoga classes and educational videos continue to inspire students around the world.

Whether supporting someone through fertility treatment, pregnancy, postpartum healing, hormonal transitions, chronic illness, or preventative wellness, Maria's goal is always the same: to create a space where patients feel seen, supported, and empowered throughout their healing journey.

Maria lives in Sarasota, Florida, and travels regularly to Santa Monica, California, to care for her longstanding community there. Outside of her practice, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, practicing yoga, exercising, meditating, being in nature, reading, cooking, and continuing her education through seminars and advanced training.
